YESHUA OUR MESSIAH
Yeshua haMashiach (the Messiah), is the Son of God,
incarnated by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Miriam. He is the promised
Prophet like unto Mosheh (Moses): a Prophet, Priest, and King.
As the
Prophet he lived a sinless life according to the letter and spirit of the Torah
(Law/Instruction). He revealed the mind of God by His life and teaching thus
fulfilling, NOT abolishing, God?s written word in the Tenach. During his life he
fulfilled all the prophecies (and traditions) concerning the first coming of
Messiah, and performed many miracles through the power of God. (Deuteronomy
18:15-19; Matthew 13:57; John 1:18; Acts 3:22-24.)
As our Kohen Ha-Gadol
(High Priest), He offered Himself as the Lamb of God, once and for all, the only
effective sacrifice for the sins of men. His death, during Pesach (Passover) was
a penal, substitutionary, and redemptive atonement fulfilling the sacrifical
offerings as our Passover Lamb. After His death, He was buried, and during the
third day, on Firstfruits, He arose from the dead bodily as the firstfruits of
the resurrection. He was seen for forty days, by as many as 500 witnesses at a
time, after His ressurection, and then He ascended into Heaven. In His death,
burial, ressurection, and ascension He fullfilled the prophecies of the type,
purpose, and time of death of Messiah "Ben Yoseph" as foretold in the Tenach. He
now is seated at the right hand of the Father where He continues as our High
Priest according to the priesthood of Melchitsedek, the only intercessor and
advocate before the Father, to intercede for all who believe. (Matthew 2:1-12;
Mark 10:45; Romans 3:24-26; 5:8-9; 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:20-28; II Corinthians
5:14-21; Hebrews 2:14-18; 4:14-5:10; 7:1-26; 8:1; 9:6-28; 1 John 2:1-2;
Revelation 1:5.)
As King, Messiah Yeshua will first collect his
followers, in a moment, before a seven year period of judgement on the Earth.
After the seven years He will return physically and visibly in power and glory
to establish His Messianic Kingdom and rule this world from the throne of David
for one thousand years. He is the legal heir to the throne as the adopted son of
Joseph, and the physical heir as the seed of David through Miriam. He will
fulfill all the remaining prophecies of Messiah "Ben David" and when all His
enemies are put under His feet, He will hand over the Kingdom to the Father. (Mattatyahu
1; Mark 13:24-27; Luke 21:25-28; I Thessalonians 1:10; II Thessalonians 2) |
